Tenzen is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India with a distinguished career in arbitration and litigation. Tenzen holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree with a specialization in Corporate Law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala. He is presently working in the dispute resolution team with special focus on international commercial arbitration.
His experience includes handling complex matters under the FIDIC Plant and Design-Build Contract, and critical arbitrations related to EPC Contracts, Concession Agreements executed on BOT/TOT basis, Indefeasible Rights to Use agreements, annual maintenance contracts, anti-poaching & anti-solicitation agreements, and Joint Development Agreements, amongst others.
His experience varies from handling infrastructure disputes arising out of projects pertaining to development of roads, bridges, tunnels, railway projects including signal and telecom works and installation of train protection warning system, and fertilizer plants. He regularly advises on contract entitlements and handles notable matters concerning prolongation costs, delays, and liquidated damages for multi-billion-rupee infrastructure projects.
Alongside infrastructure and arbitration, Tenzen’s practice extends into real estate law, electricity law, and insolvency & bankruptcy matters. He has represented a leading Delhi-NCR-based real estate developer before the Supreme Court, Consumer Courts, and Civil Courts, while also handling high-value regulatory disputes for a prominent DISCOM before the CERC and the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity.
Born and raised in Shimla, Tenzen is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and trekking through nature. With a passion for adventure, he also loves exploring the world through activities like scuba diving and snorkelling.
