Sanya Gangar is an Associate at PSL Advocates & Solicitors, with a practice concentrated on high-stakes dispute resolution, including international and domestic arbitration, insolvency proceedings, commercial litigation and project advisory. Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, she holds an LL.M. in Business Law from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, and a B.B.A. LL.B. from Symbiosis Law School, Noida.
Sanya has acted in complex arbitrations governed by the ICC Rules as well as proceedings before several domestic and international institutions, involving disputes in sectors such as infrastructure, construction, and energy. She has been part of teams representing employers, contractors and purchasers in cross-border EPC and turnkey contract disputes, including proceedings arising from large-scale road projects as well as power projects across various jurisdictions. She has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Commercial Courts, and company law tribunals in matters spanning from challenges to arbitral awards under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to corporate insolvency proceedings, personal guarantee matters, and intricate advisory mandates under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Her practice further includes drafting and strategizing pleadings across a wide spectrum of contentious matters, as well as advising clients on project management, risk allocation, and dispute mitigation in multi-jurisdictional projects.
