Jayashree Parihar is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer from India and is based out of New Delhi, India.
She is part of the disputes resolution team of PSL Advocates & Solicitors with commercial dispute resolution as her primary focus area. Her core interest lies in arbitration, especially, international commercial arbitration between multinational corporate entities.
Jayashree has worked on matters for various Indian and overseas companies on a range of commercial matters before arbitral tribunals and judicial forums. She has extensively dealt with third party funders for procuring funding arrangements for Indian parties in arbitrations.
Prior to joining PSL, Jayashree was working in the commercial dispute resolution team of Trilegal, Delhi.
Jayashree is also a contributing author for LexisNexis for its Alternative Dispute Resolution section and has also co-authored India Chapter in Delos Guide to Arbitration Places in 2019 and 2020 (revised). She has also authored various articles on varied subjects including Arbitration, IBC and insurance. She has also recently authored a chapter on Emergency Arbitration in a publication by Wolter Kluwer titled “Commercial Arbitration: International Trends and Practices”, which is foreword by Mr. Gary Born.
She has been recognized by Forbes as one of the top individual lawyer (Arbitration & Mediation) in their 2022 legal power list. She has also be recognized as a Recommended Lawyer (Dispute Resolution: Arbitration) by Legal500 in 2022.
She is also the part of the India Chapter of Equal Representation in Arbitration (ERA) Pledge, which is a beacon in the pursuit of female representation in arbitration. Additionally, she is also a part of the Steering Committee of Young International Arbitration and Mediation Centre, Hyderabad, India; in which she heads the mentoring committee and women in arbitration committee for the Northern India Region.
She also assists students from various law schools by giving guest lectures and helping their moot court society.
Apart from being a legal professional, Jayashree is also a certified mountaineer, loves to click pictures and travel.
